The stones were a light lavender. I was looking for more like the posted pictures. My hair is short and purple and I was hoping they would somewhat match my hair. But don't be deceived in how picky a 67 year old woman is, these earrings themself are lovely and beautifully made! I did contact the sellers and they did request photos but been so busy I didn't get back with them, (to much time laps). So there was no problem I believe on their part. I'm still going to wear these gems! vik ><>
