The Casio DW-291H "Classic" is a fantastic budget watch, and delivers a lot of value for your dollar. Like most Casios, it is a well-crafted, durable timekeeper that you can count on day and night. And, quite frankly, it's quite handsome, looking better in person than it does in the pictures (or at least I think so).Functionality the Classic has all the goodies you'd expect from a Casio digital watch. Day, date, and time are visible in the display, along with a digital mini analog clock. Other functions include the usual suspects; UTC (Greenwich mean time), alarm modes, timer, and stopwatch. Also the LED light illuminates the face quite nicely, but I find the green/gold-tone face easy to read even in dim light conditions.My only complaint about this watch is the same complaint I have with virtually all Casio watches. The band. While this one's is more comfortable than others, I hate Casio's wristbands. Fortunately the Classic will take a normal replacement wristband without need for an adapter. I bought an 18mm Barton silicone replacement band, and it went on perfectly (Barton is great; I love them and their bands). The only downside is the 18mm band makes the watch look bigger than it really is given its straight lines, as opposed to the Casio band that flares at the point of connection.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this watch. It's exactly what I wanted when I put it in my cart. An affordable digital watch that I can strap on when I don't want to wear something more lavish or expensive (like my G-Shock Neo Tokyo), and places legibility and utility over style. It's sufficiently functional, reasonably attractive, and should it be banged up, scratched up, or other wise broken, it's affordably replaceable too. That's a solid win!
