This thing isn't a G-Shock but it is very close in terms of design. The only thing I see that could be a problem is scratching the glass due to them not having a bevel on this watchface.Following the manual made the watch easy to setup with a quick google search for UTC and Longitude.The moon phase is cool to haveThe fish radar is absolutely sweet on a watch. Please don't expect this to be perfect in its accuracy. It seems to give you a good idea of when the fish will be biting based on moon phase and time of day. I just think it's cool to see all the fish on the radar.The green color is very OD military like.Dude for the price it really is a steal.I've worn in to the lake swimming, fishing, bathing, showering no problems with water proofing.Good watch, buy one.

I ordered this watch, and when it came in it was already on, which is fine, because every other Casio I've bought was the same way. But with this one, after the second day, I looked at my watch only to find a completely blank screen. No time, moon phase, date...NOTHING. Casio says they have a 10 year battery, but I doubt this watch has been sitting on a shelf for 10 years. So I don't know if I got a faulty watch, or a faulty battery. I love the watch, just wished it worked like advertised.

Can’t beat it for the price. Needed a beater water proof watch for the boat and surf fishing. Does it’s job. If I want to fish I do. If the dial says it’s active I also fish.
