I have had this watch for five years. I have not had to change the battery. It is stainlesss steel. It looks nice. It keeps perfect time and it is easy to read. It was not expensive. What is there not to like?

Very good and inexpresive watch. Not sure how Casio makes this watch for this price, is better made than an 100$ swatch. I use a G shock “G” for a long time but wanted to try an analog watch that is not as big for day to day at work and casual wear. This watch is flimsy compared to the G, but few watches are not flimsy compared with the G. Overall good quality construction, watertight (did not swim with it but it did not fog up w taking a shower or washing it). For now managed to keep the dial pristine despite not going crazy to protect it. The bracelet is the folded links type and quite large out of the box for my average 7inch wrist. I saw a couple you tube videos and then it took about 15 min to size it down (4 links out I think) using a cheap watch tool set so I guess this should not be a problem for most people.Update: picture added. The watch is relatively small in diameter but looks good on wrist and is easy to read. The lume is weak to non existent compared to Seiko but not a real issue in day to day.

My boyfriend has pretty thin wrists. Really hard to find a men's watch where the watch case would not be huge looking on him. I've given him much nicer watches in the past like a Bulova and Swiss Military Hanowa both of which are 37-38mm. Hard to find that size anymore. I didn't want to give him a watch that would look like he was wearing a clock on his wrist. I was looking for a nice watch with a blue face. But, in my search they were all over 40mm. Way to much watch for him. So, I lowered my standards as far as quality and brand and continued to search and found this Casio. Perfect size watch case and with a blue face. Good features like a 10 year battery too. My boyfriend did have to take it to a jeweler to have the band made smaller but he loves it and reports it keeps great time. For this price I was also very happy!

Good price, great looking watch with pleasantly thin design butnaturally heavier (stainless steel) than my older Casio digital (plastic). The blue dial is not gaudy and doesn't stand out like a neon sign. Thereare some disappointments with the design though. First the date windowat the 5-o'clock position is really small; hard to read. The window shouldbe a bit larger so the monthly numbers could be read with ease. Also, this watch knows nothing about what month it is, therefore, it willdisplay 31 days for every month. That means it will be correct seven monthsout of the year, but you will have to reset it five times.God-awful incomplete instructions accompany this watch. They are printed onone LARGE sheet of paper in every language known to mankind with print smallenough to give one a headache.Missing in the instructions are directions on how to shorten the band. I cancomfortably guarantee you that links will need removing, three in my case. There are lots of videos on YouTube showing how to do this, but they wereall for bracelet-type bands that did not match my band. Eventually, I didfind a video that matched my band so I learned how to remove links. Doingthat with "tools" around the house was another story. The little removablepins are very difficult to get out and you can easily scratch the band tryingto accomplish the job. If you take it to a jeweler you will pay about half ofwhat the watch cost, so it may not end up so inexpensive after all. After adjusting the band to fit my wrist, I do have to say it looks verynice and I am happy enough to keep it.

If I handed this watch to you and ask you to guess how much I paid, you'd likely guess $150...maybe if you saw the Casio name, the "Ediface" line, you might guess $80...but you would NEVER guess $34. Here's the thing...it's metal...probably not high end...but it's nice. It weighs a nice weight, the crystal is great, the face is VERY nice, and it's 38mm. I have a nice Seiko 5 that is an automatic, and yeah, it's a bit nicer than this, but I gave $105 for that years ago. Oh, it also has a 10 year battery. This watch now joins my Casio AE1200-WH as my only 2 quartz watches with 10 year batteries. I am just gobsmacked with this watch. As all REAL watch lovers (horologists...and you aren't a true watch lover until you know this word BTW) become, eventually, they realize that Casio has watch design, manufacturing, etc...down to the point where the value is maximized and there just isn't really any competition here. Sure, it's quartz. Sure, I love my automatics...my Seikos, my Invictas, but seriously, I won't be embarassed at all wearing this watch in front of my horologist friends...because it is that good, and LOOKS that good. Go buy one now.
