Update: I put this watch on a mesh bracelet and it definitely is on my wrist more often now.,Bought on sale. Changed strap immediately to a cheap navy rubber strap. Retro look on cheap. Was unsure how I would like this style of watch but this was a cheap way to find

Great value for a nice retro watch. Keeps very accurate time. Well made. Low price. Very comfortable to wear and easy to change the time and date. Also it’s quite reliable, durable and definitely a daily driver. I love to wear it since it reminds me of the watches from a bygone era. I would definitely buy it again for myself or as a gift.

Disappointed. Looks cheap. I own a number of Bulova and Caravel watches purchased of the last 40 years. This is the cheapest looking one I've ever bought. It won't get much wrist time.

I wasn't really looking for a watch, and in fact I've been changing batteries on several old watches. I've also just bought an automatic hacking watch from Lake and Sons. But I saw this for only $62.50, which I thought was a great price for a Caravelle (Bulova) watch.It is a larger watch, and it feels very solid on my wrist. The blue is a nice change of pace for a watch, and it has kind of a retro 70's vibe. It's not a screw down crown and though it says water resistant, I wouldn't wear it for any hard core aquatic adventures, but at this price point I'd imagine it would be okay if it got wet.The only thing I don't really care for (and the reason for 4 stars instead of five) is the band, which seems a little flimsy. I was going to switch it, but after wearing it a bit, the band is comfortable enough for the short term. It's not my daily watch-I've got an old Nixon for that, so the flimsy band is okay for now. I think it'll look great with a more substantial band. A great find here on Amazon-the Bulova site has it listed for $100 on sale!
