They weren't exactly what I expected, I thought the actual metal parts of the earing were going to be black since I am pretty new to earrings and all but it's silver, guess that is what Sterling Silver refers too?Still they look pretty cool.My biggest disappointment in the earrings is the screw clasp, sounds neat at first, however my clasp was bent so it took forever trying to screw them on. I tried to fix it, which made it even worse. It took me about 20 minutes trying to put these earrings on.It would be nice if the screw was sharp at the tip so it could easily poke through the clasp, especially since the clasp's hole is very small, unless you have surgeon skill hands, trying to get the clasp on can be a pretty big challenge. Becareful not to bend the clasp.Still they look pretty neat.I just really wish the earring looked as dark as it looked in the picture.
