I considered 3 similar earrings before buying this one. All 3 were the same carat weight, but the similarity ended there. The least expensive pair was 20% of the cost of these but the setting was rough and the stone was heat treated. The next pair was 35% of the cost of these but were only marginally better than the least expensive pair. This pair has natural untreated black diamonds and the setting is flawless. These are well worth the premium price.

Tried on the earrings for a little bit after receiving for a Christmas gift to see if I wanted to Keep them. About an hour later I decided not to keep them because I prefer princess cut shape. I went to take them off and the screw back post on one of the earrings was missing.I returned the earrings stating that it went missing and could not find it which I was surprised since it was a screw on. So other than not returning their defective piece, I returned everything else including the certificate of authenticity and was refunded One Penny.Im hoping that this was a mistake and they will make this right. ( I will update after getting in touch with Houston Diamond District)

I like the quality of the ear piece. The screw backs are a nice addition (as they prevent the backs from falling out).The platinum is great quality (which I need because I have reactive skin).

These earrings are very pretty. Didn't know what to expect since they were black diamonds and I was pleasantly surprised. They don't really sparkle like a diamond but they pick up the light and flash. I am very happy with this gift
