These are exactly the size I wanted for my smaller piercing BUT - as with several other sets of earrings I have recently purchased the backs are so tiny you would need a Surgeons degree in robotics and newborn baby fingers with no nails to grip them much less put them on. I lost one of the backs with my first attempt and despite crawling around on the floor - still can't find it. I wouldn't try putting these on without someone else putting it on for you. Hopefully I have another set that I can borrow backs from. Since these were purchased as an everyday item I will not take out unless I need to put something of a higher quality in for a special occasion - they are perfect quality for my purpose. They look pretty when in - if I can get a back on them to keep them in.

I bought these for my wife after looking at some of those jewelry stores you find in every mall. You know, the ones that start with K or Z. After discovering that those other places don't ever have their advertised jewelry in stock, only the more expensive stuff, I searched Amazon.
