I’d initially written nothing but praises for this ring when I purchased two of them in December of 2021, however, I’ve been nothing but disappointed in their quality since and decided to edit my review. Although I still believe it’s a beautiful ring, one of mine lost a stone within the first few months. The company replaced the stone after I mailed it back to them only to have another stone fall out of the same ring in just a few more month. The other ring lasted a little longer but the damage was much worse when gold itself cracked through and through in the back of the ring (opposite side of the stones). Actually broke apart. I had my jeweler whom I trust implicitly repair it, I wore it a few days afterwards and then it lost a stone. I’m 57 years old and I’ve been purchasing jewelry a long time- I’ve never had a piece that was made of 14K gold break or wear through. I’m not hard on my jewelry, I actually have RA and the movement in my hands is very limited, but even if I was I find it difficult to believe that a quality piece of gold would wear through completely in only 14 months. I’d worn my original wedding set for 23 years before I lost it and it looked as brand new as it did the day it was placed on my finger. Additionally, I might understand losing one stone in that timeframe but 3 stones? And 2 of them in just the first couple of months? Whereas I’d based my first review on appearance alone after only having my rings for a week or two, I’ve now owned them long enough to establish the quality of them and sadly that doesn’t fair nearly as well as their initial appearance. $300 a piece might not be much to some, but I only spent that much because I intended to wear these for the rest of my life. Unfortunately I spent it on sub quality rings and, unless I want to continue to throw money at them for repairs, I’ll let them stay in my junk jewelry drawer.
