Needed a dress watch for wedding season and this met the criteria. The link-removal took adjusts the wrist band circumference to fit snug. The steel wristband is lightweight and doesn't tarnish or have a metallic smell after skin contact like some metal jewelry in this price range. The color options go well with a wide variety of formalwear. The timepiece is just as accurate as the $1k+ watches would be. I wouldn't give it as a gift since Curren is known for entry-level watches ($10-$40). Also can't speak to the durability since I've only had it less than a year... but if you're buying a watch for yourself this once is perfect and I wouldn't change anything about it.

Great watch for a great price. Super seller, as well. The watch I received did have a small cosmetic defect, which I made the seller aware of the same night I unboxed it. They were extremely courteous and apologetic, and had a refund applied to my account immediately. I mean, immediately. Like when I woke up the next morning immediately. I used the refund to re-order the watch, and received a new one, without defect, in about a day and a half. Excellent customer service! And the watch looks nice, and works perfectly. Not crazy huge on my small wrist. Thank you!

Gotta love value brands; if it wasn't for Curren, we'd all be forced to rock one of those cheap digital G-Shock watches. Since I don't have a lot of money and don't own a black leather trench coat and wrap sunglasses, I've opted for this one instead as an elegant, yet financially-conscious choice. It really takes my business formal and night-out fits to the next level without raising any eyebrows. Just don't get to sweaty in it or you may start to see rust on the inside like I have. Also note that from my experience one of the pins on the latch is prone to falling out. I've gone through two of them so far and only have one left after receiving replacements from the company, which had great customer service.

I really liked how this watch looked and felt, great design. At first I was blown away by the price.However it is really badly made. It stopped ticking fairly often, a good slap would get it going again but I couldn't rely on the time. I wore it like 3 times a week and it lasted 15 months. The pins were all falling out of the band, and at first I was able to split them harder and fix it, but then too many were coming out at once and I lost a piece before I got home.I kind of want to order another and only wear it occasionally, but Im going to give another company a try first

Hubby was disaponted.....we ordered this great watch, it looked gorgeous on my Man's wrist....sadly the pin came out?? And the band broke.......this wasn't after alot of wear and tear?? It broke...... seems like stuff just doesn't hold up like it used too...... disapointed

The watch is a cheap watch that looks more expensive than it is. It's going to break after about a year (usually the band falls apart), and I think it's money well spent for a watch that looks pretty good and feels solid for that year that you wear it. I've ordered 4 so far (like I said, it'll last about a year) and will order another when this one breaks.You usually get what you pay for, but I think in this case, you get a little bit more...at least for a year.

As attractive on the wrist as it is in pictures. Only had it 4 days, but i really like it and so far it's working perfectly.... Price was very good. Sits in my collection of relatively inexpensive watches that i rotate wearing regularly.

Watch comes with a preset band for an “average” wrist size, but my wrist is smaller, so I contacted seller and they sent an instruction photo which showed how to adjust it. But you’ll need almost jeweler-level tools, i.e. a very thin, but tough, post and a small hammer to drive the connector posts out of each link. I finally found I had a micro-drill bit that would work in order to tap and drive the posts out. The operation took more than a half hour. Seller could consider including a suitably thin but strong driver post with the watch, accompanied by the 4-step photo instructions that are NOT included, but should be (seller emailed me instructions for adjusting). This watch is very sharp looking, well designed, nicely made, and is an amazing value! (The watch arrived well before predicted arrival date.) If the seller would correct (or redesign) the band adjustment problem, this watch would rate a solid 5 stars from me. Seller says it’s Japanese made.P.S. I’ve worn this watch for several weeks now and I am pleasantly surprised at how readable the larger dial is, compared with my old, “expensive” watch. I’ve had compliments on this watch, and it looks as good as watches 10 times it’s price.
