This Amazon Essentials diamond paw necklace is the perfect gift for someone who has a school logo of a paw, or for a dog lover. In my case, I ordered this necklace for myself because my alma mater has a paw logo. It’s a small, dainty necklace that discretely adds a small amount of bling! If you’re looking for something that jumps out at you, this isn’t it! It’s less than half the size of a dime.The paw print itself is made of silver with rhodium plating on top. Even if the rhodium wears off, having it be silver instead of white gold means that it is safe for people with nickel allergies (white gold often has nickel in it to make It stronger whereas silver doesn’t need that). I love that this is hypoallergenic – I can wear it!!! (I have trouble with gold jewelry).The paw print has four toes and a cute curved pad. The top of the paw is covered in pave diamonds – 1/10 ct weight. They add a little shine, but it isn’t so many diamonds that your eyes are drawn immediately to it before someone’s face. The back of the necklace is flat silver with a few holes throughout where the diamonds are placed on the opposite side.The chain is a silver simple loop – one loop one direction, linked loop 90 degrees. It’s very thin and dainty and is attached to the paw with a big silver loop. The chain is perfect length – it hangs in a great spot halfway between my neck and my chest so it’s visible regardless of the shirt I wear without being tight around my neck.My only complaint about the necklace is the clasp. It’s such a tiny clasp that I can’t put it on or take it off on my own.If you’re looking for a small pretty little necklace, this is very cute! Would make a great value-priced gift!

This pawprint necklace is perfect for any pet lover regardless of sex and age. It is very dainty and quite small, which makes it perfect to enjoy wearing every day. It adds just a little sparkle and brightens up my day to wear it. It could be the pawprint of either a cat or a dog. I love the way the gold coating sparkles against the diamonds and that it is hypoallergenic, as well as nickel- and lead-free. The chain is a nice size and also very dainty to match the pendant. It is 18" long and I love the way it rests just below my collarbone. The clasp is easy to use and I appreciate that I can easily take it on and off without needing help.The only issue with this necklace is it was not well presented upon receipt. The necklace comes in a little ziploc baggie. The chain was tangled and it took me a while to get it untangled and ready to wear. If you are planning on purchasing this necklace as a gift, make sure you purchase a gift bag or box to put it in so that your gift recipient can enjoy opening it. This necklace does make a lovely gift and is beautiful in person. I am sure any pet lover will enjoy wearing it.

Got this for my wife, here’s what she has to say: I was completely disappointed in the packaging, it arrived in a plastic bag. For the price, I had expected so much more from it, a simple box or even a velvet pouch. Keychains worth less come in better packaging. The chain was tangled upon arrival. It is very thin and a little difficult to untangle. But it is very comfortable on and fits nicely. The clasp works well. The pendant is very small, and although it wasn’t what I was expecting, I do like the size and simplicity of it. Overall, it is a very cute necklace and I like it a lot. I removed one star for packaging, because of the pricing.

This is a very cute necklace. The 18” chain length is quite nice and suited for either child or adult. It has just the right amount of sparkle to set it off. It is very small and dainty which makes it probably better suited for a child. Based on the price I knew that this necklace was going to be small. If it were larger I would expect a higher price point. Also, part of the charm is the fact that it’s small, although I would have liked for it to be a bit larger than it is. That said, I still wear it because I love showing my support for my four-legged friends. Sometimes simplicity is exactly the right touch, and it certainly isn’t large and gaudy. If you are looking for a statement piece, this isn’t it. If you are looking for a sweet necklace for a little girl, this is perfect. If you just want a small memento that is very understated, this fits nicely. Depends on what you are looking for, but I do think that, for the price, it’s a cute necklace.

This necklace is so cute and sparkley... it's the perfect necklace for any pet lover! The pendant is darling and is shaped like a pawprint... it shimmers as it's surrounded by a golden border. The chain is light and dainty... the clasp is a spring ring and the chain doesn't have an extender. Stamped on the back of the pendant is "925", "China", and "PAJ".The quality is excellent and it's a well made necklace... I love it! I highly recommend!

Update: I just removed it from the package and the chain is in a knot so I cannot wear it.Very pretty necklace! It is tiny, it is much smaller than it appears in the pictures and the chain is very thin and delicate. I love paw prints because I love dogs so other dog lovers will love it and it makes a great gift.

This is a very pretty necklace. The little paw sparkles just enough without being too sparkly. It is small, dainty and hangs from an 18" chain. The chain is very light and delicate. I do prefer small jewelry, so this is perfect for me. If you are someone who prefers larger pieces, this isn't for you.I have other necklaces from high-end jewelry stores, that are also on very delicate chains, with small charms, but much more pricey. This is a great option if you are looking to keep your jewelry budget low.
