Awesome looking Moissanite necklace. Moissanite is a rare naturally occurring silicon carbide mineral but it is mostly synthesized in a lab. It is the closest diamond substitute with a high hardness of 9.25 versus diamonds at 10 on the Mohs scale hardness. This piece has excellent sparkle and fire, matching or exceeding that of a diamond. Not that long ago Moissanite sold for $300 to $600 per caret but in recent years many more manufacturers have greatly lowered the cost to the point of the selling price of this necklace. This is NOT cheap costume jewelry but a piece that can last a lifetime with proper care.The mounting is good though is the only thing that gives away its low cost to me. It is well made but just not up to the fine qualities I see in diamond jewelry. The chain is very small and thin. The clasp is of good quality and works well.The average person with the naked eye cannot distinguish this necklace from a diamond one. It requires magnification and a trained eye to know the difference. Overall, this is an excellent jewelry piece that I am happy to add to my collection.

I picked up this Moissanite and sterling/white gold necklace in the "6" style to wear with my v neck dresses for dates and church.Pros:Ideal length for v necks (3 fingers below my collarbone) with a 2" adjustable section on the end of the chain.Simple, elegant design is perfect for dinner dates or church wear. A 2ct moissanite has a LOT of sparkle!Chain is delicate and nearly invisible on my fair skin, so the pendant stands out.Moissanite comes with a gem certificate.Cons:Presentation box included does not match the quality of the piece. The company name (which sounds like "die young" in English) is imprinted on the top of the box, and there's a weird white clamp in the center of the pink velvet presentation stand (shown in listing) If you are purchasing this for gift giving, consider buying a separate presentation box. The box is sturdy enough for lifetime storage if you are purchasing for yourself.

I’ll be honest: I have no idea if this is real moissanite. I’m not a gemologist, I’m just a lady who really likes sparkly things… And this pendant is super sparkly, definitely on par with my other moissanite and genuine diamond pieces. I don’t usually wear halo settings, but this design caught my eye because it’s a little unusual. The pretty bezel stone at the top of the halo pendant is a nice touch.The pendant has a nice weight (I would definitely feel it if it fell off) and the chain is also sparkly!Good price for a nice addition to any jewelry collection.
