It’s cute but fragile, so be gentle when twisting out sections. I’m not sure why the very bottom underside also swings out with the clear one. It did not do that with the white one that I’m returning.

I ordered 2 white and one green and there is a world of difference in how easily they open? I worked the green one by opening/closing about 20 times and it is still nowhere near how easily the white ones work, which is almost too easily but good for me. I wouldn't think these would be good to travel with. You would have to put the whole thing in a form fitted bag to keep it from opening and space wise you can't beat little plastic bags or soft sided flat jewelry bags made for traveling. That said, these are perfect for what I wanted. To hold bracelets. The tila bead and stretch bracelets. They fit perfectly and aren't too deep so you can sort them by color. Hint: I put a little butterfly sticker on each drawer the color of the bracelets inside. Overall I am very happy with the white ones but would not recommend the green at all.

Would never travel with this but keeping my dresser from being a catch all for earrings and bracelets, this thing is great!There's nothing to keep the compartments from sliding open, and it's just not very sturdy, so don't look at this for travel.
