First of all the stone is the perfect size and doesn't stick up. The first one I received broke as I was bending it and I contacted customer service. They sent me a replacement out the same day. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Overall I’m happy with it! I wanted real gold to avoid allergies and the size is perfect. You can actually bend it by hand if you don’t have tools although to get the right shape, you’ll want something to grip better. My only issue is finding the right shape - even with tools. It’s a pretty long bar and making it the right shape to a) actually go in and stay in and b) not show or be uncomfortable when wearing was a PAIN. I was actually worried I’d bend it so much it would break but thankfully it didn’t. I wish it came with a guide or instructions (nothing comes with it; I used what’s in the product description). But now that I finally got it the way I want it, I love it! (I’ll update if the quality just isn’t there but if you don’t see that, it means all is good.)

This nose stud looks real good, I haven’t used it long enough to see if it gives me irritation like a lot of other studs have given me and since it’s gold plated we will see…but it was really easy to bend and twist (did it by hand).
