I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. I had had my doubts, due to the price, as malachite - REAL malachite - can be quite pricey and hard to find. The market is inundated with man-made stuff, to the point that if you have never held the real stuff and know what it should look and feel like, you might not really know if what you have is fake or not.So, I was holding my breath about it, and prepared to return it if it wasn't real. But, lo! It's definitely malachite! I am super happy about that, and he's thrilled because he had wanted a malachite magatama for a while now, but assumed no one would make/sell them (hard enough finding a "donut" made of the real stuff, so he assumed this was impossible.)I'm very happy that this existed and I was able to fulfill his one small desire.

You know that feeling when you buy jewelry online? You always wonder what you will get when you see it in person. Will it be smaller, have that cheap feeling or appearance? Well, don't worry about this necklace, as it is exactly as pictured and described. I love it. In fact I will likely get one or two more [different stones].My only suggestions would be --Add 1"-2" to the length of the necklace to make it a bit easier for people with larger heads to put it on,and offer a second version where the stone is 50% larger.I am very pleased with the necklace and feel it was well worth the purchase price.

Love my sodalite version. Craftsmanship is out of this world. Every string tie was melted or glued in place including the thread through the gem so it doesnt cut or break off. Highly giftable and wicked awesome first impression unboxing.

Loved the product as fast as aesthetics. It was beautiful and unique looking. My only complaint was that the tip was not rounded off smoothly and was quite coarse to the touch. If worn against skin , expect scratching and irritation similar to coarse sandpaper. I ordered an exact replacement but had the same problem. Returned them both. Mine was the rose ruby. I still would consider the obsidian since it tends to be smoother.

Once again I am absolutely amazed by the products that amorwing sells. This is another beautiful piece that, of course, came gift wrapped. I won't buy this type of jewelry from anyone else. They are simply the best.

I really like how it's adjustable to any length that you need or want. I'm glad it's not heavy it's really lightweight and I don't really feel the necklace there.
