I’m super picky about piercing jewelry. A lot of times I will find a good piece and stick with it for a long time. I typically like gemstones like moon, stones and opals, but there are design elements that definitely compete with that and moons are definitely one of them.I’ve always really adored the triple moon symbol, and I have moons everywhere in my house. Lots of triple moons as well. So when I saw this navel ring, I snagged it quick!I have very sensitive skin and I will have an allergic reaction to anything that isn’t stainless steel or a precious metal, so I can say with confidence that this naval rain is not made of any cheap metals. I really loved that the ball was male and the bar was female- in the past I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with the reverse configuration. It’s just been my experience that rings are a lot more secure and strong when the ball screws into the bar, rather than the other way around.Everything is super strong – I was a tad bit concerned that I might have to take the chains off if they weren’t secure, but I see absolutely no issues here. The chains are very secure, and a lot more unobstructive than I expected.The triple moon is gorgeous and really well done. The rhinestones at the top and bottom of the ring are also gorgeous.Overall, this is a beautiful, really well-made piece that I can see lasting a very long time. My daughters remarked that it was made for me, because I have moons everywhere- I really love it!
