I have been looking for a good chain for a beautiful vintage pendant my husband gave me when I receive my Master’s degree. Because the pendant is platinum with diamonds, I needed the chain to be strong and reliable, but because the pendant is vintage and very delicate, the chain couldn’t be too heavy. When I saw this chain advertised, I thought I’d give it a try. But honestly, I figured based on the price, it wouldn’t be strong enough. I couldn’t have been more wrong! This chain far surpasses anything I expected, and after testing the strength of the clasp I knew I had a winner (I decided to pull on the chain as hard as possible just to make sure it was sturdy & secure enough for my pendant. If it had broken, I would’ve kept it and just looked at other chains)! I used to sell find jewelry and knew that box chains are the strongest, but I didn’t expect this little chain to be is great as it is. I’ve been wearing the necklace nonstop since the day after it was delivered, and it’s been absolutely perfect! I can’t recommended enough.

Plus it’s sturdy, made of stainless steel. I needed a handy key, small gate remote plus door fobs holder to get in the gate, the doors to get in my building where I live and to get my mail. I ably need these things at home so I don’t have to wear them 24/7 just coming and going.Plus I have always loved abalone. They are pretty.

I first bought 14-in silver box chain and was so impressed with the quality that I ordered an 18-in a week later. I have two special necklaces one is a heart with my mother's ashes in it and the other is a heart with a diamond in it that my son bought me. I have been getting box chains from Fred Meyer and I thought their quality was great however I'm hard on I'm in the afternoon break so I was always getting them repaired. The quality of these two chains that I just bought exceeds the quality of the same type of chain at Fred Meyer Jewelers. I will forever by chains from this company. And frankly they could quite reasonably double the price of their chains and they'd be worth it. Well done!

Measured the chain and it is accurately sized. Appears to be real sterling silver- no discoloration, no green left on skin (my skin does that easily) and matches a pendant I know for certain is sterling silver. For the price I wasn’t surprised it was sent in a tiny ziplock but in case you were expecting a box or something it doesn’t come with one for gifting. Chain is delicate (1mm) but that’s what I was looking for and intentionally ordered, it doesn’t seem like it will break easily though. I’m happy with my purchase and would purchase chains from them in the future.
