There's no denying I have a armful of reservations about this watch yet nevertheless I'm rating it pretty highly. I'm not all that enamored with homages to start with and in this case when you're talking about a homage of a homage there is a moment where you have to ask yourself why.Because...it looks pretty darn good.This is the Pagani PRX and it is a remarkable knockoff of the Tissot. It is delivered in a modest quality cardboard case and includes a rather confusing screwdriver that is useless for removal of links as this watch has push pin links. It has an automatic movement represented to be a TMI (Seiko/Epson subsidary) cal. NH35a but I'm not convinced it isn't in reality a non-Japan/non-Maylasia who knows where it was actually manufactured clone. But, at this price point it doesn't matter all that much, anyway. If one is looking for a watch with so close of a resemblance to the generally highy regarded Tissot model at this price point, as close as this one gets is sufficiently over middling to earn some critical assessment slack.I'm more of an aesthetically oriented enthusiast so performance standards don't mean as much to me with these lower end watches so I haven't timed this model and am not likely to do so ever but published testing results for the NH35 movement are between -20/+40 spd. The manual included with this watch lists -34/+40 but I wouldn't place much faith in anything printed in the user's manual as it is an all-inclusive little booklet that doesn't specifically address this watch's movement - it is both hackable and hand windable - anywhere in the document.The watch dial is a flat black hue similar to the quartz version of the PRX. It has lumed stick indices with a date window at the "3" position with black markers on the silver-toned chapter ring. The Pagani Design label and logo are located just under the double stick index at the "12" position. The baton style hands are also lumed with what appears to be BGW9 paint, which appears white in daylight and has a greenish blue hue in low light conditions. On this watch it fades rather quickly.The dial is protected by a non-coated flat sapphire crystal which is always a nice add with watches at this price point. Case surfaces are brushed 316L stainless steel with a modest amount of mirrored polishing employed for the contured bezel sides. The bezel topside is also brushed SS and is level with the crystal. I measured lug to lug length at 46mm but due to the contour of the end links it is effectively 50mm but wears much smaller. It tends to sit flush on the wrist. Case thickness is approximately 11mm with actual lug width of 28mm lug width although that less of a factor with this style of end link attachment and bracelet. The watch diameter is 40mm not including crown. The watch also has a screw down crown with the embossed Pagani logo. The exhibition back case cover allows viewing of the automatic movement including the suspiciously stamped rotor. I have a few other watches with the same movement and this one simply appears...off. The watch is represented to be 100m water resistant which should be fine for typical exposures to moisture including swimming.This model also features the integrated style brushed finish SS bracelet with solid end links that may present somewhat of a challenge for bracelet swappers.The closure type is a milled dual button release butterfly clasp. The Pagani branding is also laser etched on the clasp closures. The bracelet tapers to 20mm at the clasp end. Overall, despite a few flaws, it wears comfortably and it is a decent bracelet for the price point.One other notable difference is this watch's case has drilled lug holes as compared to smooth finish of the PRX and its retractable spring bar attachment.
