This necklace is heavy and bulky but it is very short, almost like a choker. I won't use it and will possibly send back or regift to someone. Very disappointing. 😢😢

I got this stainless steel Byzantine chain as a gift for my dad, and he loves it! It is quite comfortable and has a very nice weight to it. I usually wear silver and was concerned about whether stainless would be comfortable to wear since it doesn’t have the heat conducting properties of silver. I really didn’t notice any difference. It warmed quickly on my skin and it is quite comfortable to wear. The size of the chain and the design are quite masculine, but I think it’s easily a unisex item. The construction of the chain is visually interesting, and looks cool alone but also great with a pendant added.One of the big concerns my dad has when he wears a necklace is how much stress and pull it will take before giving way and coming his neck. The concern isn’t about losing it, but more about getting caught on something in an industrial environment (which he often find himself in) or just by accident and then being hurt by the chain. This chain has an unfused 18 gauge jump ring that provides a point of release in such an event. I like to know that some level of safety feature is present allowing the chain to release under substantial pressure, and this fits the bill!Overall, I’m quite pleased with this necklace! It's something you can feel good wearing or gifting to a loved one.

I'm a big fan of this one. I love the design (stainless steel silver version) and it feels good around the neck. The only complaint is that it could be a bit longer but outside of that it's great.
