(I ordered pink and received clear (crystal) so I'm cranky about that, but will set that aside for my comments below)This charm - and I say charm rather than necklace because while it's sold as a necklace, the included chain is garbage so you'll want to place this charm on something nicer for sure - is nicely proportioned and finished with a high-polish and shine the makes it sparkle. The casting is smooth on both the front and back, so it feels good in the fingers (i.e., it's not flat-stamped). It's about the size of a US Quarter coin so it's rather dainty, but has enough shine and sparkle to hold its own.

My wife loves purple and she put this on right away. She wore it for several days before taking it off, so no issues with sleeping with it. The chain is very dainty but of good quality. The butterfly is a one sided design so you do have to ensure the front faces outwards when installing on the chain.

This pendant is pretty and simple. The ruby colored cubic zirconia appears fuchsia in the ad, but it is red. The size of the butterfly pendant and the length of the chain could be appropriate for a child or adult. It came with a chain that is easy to fasten and unfasten. It arrived in a cardboard jewelry box that could be wrapped as a gift.

This one for me falls a little short.Not saying it isn't pretty but just not as much of a statment piece as I had hoped it to be.The color is barely noticible.Very light on the amethyst spectrum. Have to really look close to notice it is purple since in some light it even looks more of a blue.Like that the chain and pendant are two separate pieces.SO easy to use a different chain with this one.
