Pendant comes in a small jewelry box with each component separated into small plastic bags. Before I gave this to my wife I'm glad I opened everything up, connected the pendant to the chain and placed appropriately in the box.My wife really likes it. The chain is a good length and the clip on the back was small but not so small to make linking difficult. My wife really likes it, says its pretty but her first comment was that the aquamarine was a bit dark and looked more like blue topaz. As aquamarine is her birthstone I took her word on it. Me personally, yes, it is a bright blue and I know my wife prefers lighter aquamarine but googling makes me think we're both right. I would take the stone color from the product image as accurate.
