I absolutely love butterflies. I have a neck tattoo of some. And when I saw these I thought they were so gorgeous. And they did not disappoint when I saw them in person. Just as pictured. They really are absolutely stunning. The only hard time I had was choosing either my birthstone which is diamond or my daughter's birthstone which is sapphire. I chose the sapphire bc you couldn't really distinguish that there was a heart in the background of the butterflies. With the sapphire or any of the colored birthstones, you can absolutely see the heart stone in the background. Yes they are pricey but you do pay a little more for quality jewelry. Highly recommend. Would make a beautiful Mother's Day, birthday, anniversary, really any holiday gift for the special woman in your life who loves butterflies!

The description calls the blue stone "Sapphiret Birthstone" (spelled Saphiret in this case). I never heard of such a stone but there is such a glass. It is "a rare type of glass that was produced in the town of Gablonz, Czechoslovakia in the early part of the 20th century.""Saphiret glass has instantly recognizable distinctive colour tones that are created by fusing gold with a sapphire coloured blue glass."The description says the blue birthstone is "made of Cubic Zirconia". It is kind of confusing to me but I guess if a diamond can be called cubic zirconia diamond I guess it is ok to call it Cubic Zirconia Saphiret.The silver is truly 925 Sterling Silver as the markings to prove its authenticity is on the hook of the earrings.The blue is a bit darker than I expected but when the light shines from behind it is a very nice sapphire blue color.This really is a very beautiful set of earrings and I highly recommend them for their quality and luster.

Birthstone and butterflies!The color and clarity are very beautiful. The silver pairs perfectly. The clasp mechanism isn't flawless, but these won't be getting lost off any ears anytime soon.

These are very beautiful, with a large heart-shaped CZ (I got the garnet one) and two small crystal encrusted butterflies on each earring. The leverback wires are a good size and are easy to work with. The earrings are made of sterling silver (even though my picture makes them look gold, they're definitely silver)They're very pretty and feminine, but not frou-frou feminine. Just classy.
