I was happy when Bulova made this watch because I always liked LED as easy to see in dark. The watch is comfortable but not sure if can get generic replacement bands, probably not and I can see the band not lasting for years. Setting up was easy and the watch appears well made. Cannot see the display in bright sun of course. It should have motion detect so when you put your wrist up it turns on like other digital watches. You need to press the button to turn on the display and the button is on the right hand side and should be on the left hand side so your left hand does not cover the display when you push the button with your thumb. It only stays on for 5 seconds which is long enough and they make it short to save battery life. It has dual time zone which is nice and date. The battery is 2032 very common and can get at any corner store. This watch was well thought out and the price is ok considering it is name brand. The band holds well enough that it doesn't slide to the side when you move your wrist.

OK... I'm a huge Bulova watch fan, but boy did they nail this one!!!!!!I had so much trust in them to get this right, I bought 2 without even seeing it.They did not disappoint. In 1969-1972, all the moon men had wind up watches. And then, by 1976, all because of Apollo, the Bulova Computron makes its debut.I remember it like it was yesterday. In the early 70's "space spinoffs" were changing the world, forthe better, by the second. This watch brought me back to 1976 instantly, and then when I realized how much betterBulova made the vintage re-issue, I was suddenly in 2076.Its remarkably solid, the display is brilliant, and the lines are stunning.Talk about a conversation starter.I've read some complaints on having to use 2 hands. What watch doesn't need 2 hands today?Yes you have to press a button to see the time, but that makes it cooler. If your to lazy to press a button for the time, smoothies are not going to help at all!

It looks great. It's actually kind of smaller than I thought it would be, which I preferred. One button on the side to show the time. A recessed button on the the other side that you need a pen to press, in order to change the time. Adjust time with the other button. (It only goes up)Some people might gripe about the silicone wrist band, but if it REALLY matters, you can go to any jeweler and buy a new wrist band for anywhere from $30-$50. It's a non-issue for me, and I like the casual, unique, somewhat upper class look of it.If the battery fails, I'll either replace it myself, or have a jeweler do it for me. This is genuinely nice.

Cool watch. Definitely gives off the "retro vibes". The only thing I don't really dig about it is that the display does not stay on. It times out after a few seconds.

I like the retro Computron a lot -- although to me a little expensive (Amazon's price being among the cheapest). The watch is well made of metal with a mineral crystal and is reasonably small so it fits well on my smallish wrist. I chose the black since I thought the silver and gold versions looked kind of gaudy, at least in the pictures of the item. The time display button requires an easy but lightly firm push. This definitely prevents accidental pushing by clothing or flesh. Setting is very easy, making sure you are in the mode that needs to be set. The band is very flexible and comfortable. It also has a battery hatch which one can open without the aid of a jeweler.Update: Not visible in direct sunlight. You either have to shield it or tilt it down and view it from above.

The quality is as good as the watch is unique. :)

This watch was hard to operate and really small on the wrist. Adjusting the time is almost impossible and it comes without a user manual. Bought it for nostalgic reasons and I wish I did not. Avoid at all cost, not worth it.

It's a great watch. Unfortunately, the black model only comes with a silicone/rubber strap, which I don't like.
