This item is made of jeweler’s bronze, which looks just like gold. In fact, my friend thought that it was gold until I told him otherwise! The weave of the pentacle and the color and tone of the metal are strikingly beautiful. As for the size, it is just right-- not too big, not too small, and it would look great on either a man or a woman. It does not come with a chain, though, which I found a little disappointing. Even so, it is well worth the price, and now I know why jeweler's bronze is often sold as an affordable alternative to gold. I own many pentacles, but this one has become my instant favorite!
