They are the best out there for function and price.1. The attachable loop is in front of the earring versus the bottom, but probably 50% of my earrings either swivel or have no “front”. See picture. For the ones that I do want facing “out” instead of “forward”, I bought a package of metal loops that I attach to the loop in the front of the converter, and then attach the earring to the new loop. This makes the finished earring hang at a 90 degree angle from where it hung before. You can add more loops if you want longer earrings.2. The hole to attach the earring is 1 sixteenth of an inch in diameter, really rather big. I’m 67 and have had cataract surgery. I had no problem using these.3. They are not heavy-duty. If you have to open/close the loop on the front of the converter (instead of a loop on the earring), use care.4. These are for COSTUME JEWELRY. The metal will eventually tarnish or the ‘shininess’ will wear off. If that happens and your earrings are still looking good, buy some more of these and do it again!5. If the converter hurts your ear (they are plenty tight), just gently squeeze the part that goes on the back of your ear toward the part it is attached to. You are making less of the back meet the ball.I have looked at various methods to convert earrings, and this is the easiest. I’m buying more right now.

Great product to wear earrings without ear Piercing.

I was forced to do this conversion process because I had torn my ear. I was told it could not be repaired. I did not want to not wear my beautiful earrings, so I decided to look into converting my earrings from pierced to clip. I also bought the silicon sleeves. After I converted each earring, I placed a dot of gorilla clear grip contact adhesive and slid a silicon sleeve on each converted earring. When placing them on my ears, I carefully adjusted each earring for ease of wear by GENTLY bending the front hinge piece. I am very satisfied with the result!🤗

I thought I ordered all silver but I received gold also! Some of them were to fused to open. I have to keep adjusting them because they pinch my ears.

I am a Paparazzi Jewelry Independent Consultant, all of our necklaces come with earrings but they are all pierced . These clip-on converters work great to change the earrings over to clip-on for my Mom. Very easy to use.

My mother in law is 66 and recently had her earring holes split after years and years of heavy earring wearing. There was not enough attachable skin to sew it back together so the dr just recommended clip on earrings. She’s a rather vain woman and wanted to keep all her earrings she currently has vs just buying new clip on earrings. So I went through the pain staking process of converting hundreds of earring to clip one. There are several cons about these converters but I will start with the pros:1. They are easy to open2. They look rather ‘earring like’ once on.That’s really all they have. Now on tonthe cons:1. The attachable loop is in the front of the earring vs the bottom so it holds 99% of earrings sideways. If that makes any sense? If they made the loop to attach the earring at the bottom, it would help the earring fall naturally instead of holding it at a side. In the HUNDREDS of earrings I had to convert, I still have not come across a set that this works for. But I’m sure they are out there, never say never...2. While trying to attach the earring to the converter i broke more than I’d like. The loop to attach the earring is very thin and fragile. I have broken..A LOT... and had to start fixing them because I refused to buy more. Even when my MIL attached them to her ear, some would break.3. The hole to attach an earring is soooo tiny. Like trying to thread a needle. I’m 32 with perfect eye sight and it irritated me.I do need to say that because I bought so many I have found a way to make them usable. If you use the peace that goes into the ear as a ‘wire’ like attachment, I have found it works. I then just bend the wire around the earring with pliers and BAM! The little hole still breaks but I just clamp it back together. I would not recommend these, there has to be a better way to convert earrings. But I bought so many and my MIL was excited to have earrings again that we just went with it. Definitely won’t be purchasing again.

I had my ears pierced once with awful results. So shortly after, I went back to wearing clip-on earrings. However, I noticed the cutest earrings were only available for pierced ears. After searching on Amazon I found these converters. They are simple to use and don't pinch the earlobes. I wear them comfortably every day. I do intend to order more in the future.
