Looks like face cream, smells like car wax. First of all, this little bottle is filled to the top with the cleaner. Good to see you get a full bottle for your money. Secondly, as soon as I opened it, it smelled exactly like liquid car polish/wax.Which is very well might be, I don't know. What I do know is that it cleaned a "liquid silver" native american necklace that I had better than anything else. I took a picture of the cloth, I used to wipe away the tarnish and you can see it removes tarnish really well. Look at all the black oxidation that comes off! This is after I applied the jewelry with a polish cloth and a liquid "dunk" cleaner. This one is the best for my needs, although it takes a bit of wiping to remove the cleaner resideue completely. So, if you are like me and are sort of obsessive about cleaning your sterling silver and silver jewelry, you will like this cleaner, if you don't mind the smell. It works very well.
