This necklace is definitely a choker style (I am size 8-10, average sized neck), it fits above my collar bones. I think I will get an extender and have it fall a little lower. The earrings hang nicely from your ears and have a wide back so that they do not droop down, this is needed because of the way they hang. The earrings are not heavy, just long. The set is super cute but be prepared for a choker unless you have a tiny neck!

The proportions for the necklace and earrings seem out of balance. The earrings are really long, too long for a younger person to wear, but maybe Ok for an adult. However, the choker necklace seems too small for an adult but perhaps a good size for a young person; also, the bow on the chain seems flimsy. I photographed the chain and necklace next to an ordinary pen to give you a sense of proportion.
