I sent this bird pendant to my mother for mother's day as a symbol of what we both enjoy. She was extremely happy with it, not only for it's beauty, but for what it represents. I also know that one of her favorite colors is green. It was definitely the perfect gift. I happened to see her wearing it in a picture. It's not too small or too big. It's also an eye catcher. Now I want one too. :-)

only ITEM I would change would be length of chain it comes with. I measured chain andit comes to less then 14" on mine I now will have to purchase longer sterling chain....it comes right to base of neck where we all have indent in neck and looks somewhatlike a chocker necklace which I did not want. Other then that the necklas is very verypretty and good, in fact great quality...you will not be disappointed at all, exceptionchain length.....needs to be longer.....even if more for comfort then looks.....good buy and do purchase if you love birds, turquoise and silver.....

My mom and I share a love of birds. This necklace is the perfect reminder of that, while not being overly literal. It has just enough lines to indicate that it's a bird, and no more--simple and clean. I chose the mother of pearl version for an understated look. Several of her friends have noticed her wearing it and mentioned how lovely it is. She adores it.It is packaged in a small pouch, and the necklace is in a ziplock bag with an anti-tarnish patch in it, which I think is a nice little extra.One negative is that it was put inside the ziplock with the clasp undone, so the chain was pretty knotted up when I received it. If this happens to you, put the chain on the table and *gently* press the knots to loosen them up; then *gently* use a couple of pins to widen the knots out so that you can pull them apart by hand--seriously, *gently*.It was absolutely worth the trouble and I would definitely buy it again.

I really like the pendant. It is as described in the ad. The only information on the chain was that it was 16 inches, but the model in the ad has to be wearing a longer chain or she is 3 feet tall. If you like very dainty jewlery, you would probably like it, but it is so tiny I cannot attach the clasp and since you need to remove sterling silver to bathe, etc., the chain is totally useless to me. Note I have thumb arthritis, so this might not be an issue for others. I was going to return the necklace but then the earings arrived and the set is just too cute, so I put the pendant on another chain that I can get on and off.

Product is good quality however much smaller than expected. Ideally for someone who likes small delicate jewelry or good for a little girl.
