However, to those who have worn heavy earrings in the past, they should not be an issue. They are not painfully heavy.

These look like the picture. I purchased them to go with a gypsy costume and they will work well. Not sure if I'll be thrilled with them after a whole day of wear, as they are a bit on the heavy side. I don't think these will be earrings I'll forget I'm wearing! But they are well-made and will serve the purpose. A very nice touch is that they included an extra back for each earring. Since they're heavy I don't think they'll wiggle out like lighter earrings do, but I still think that was a thoughtful addition.Update: After wearing these for a full day, I was surprised that I was not more aware of them. They are still a bit on the heavy side for me personally and I wouldn't wear them on any regular basis, but they were fine for an extended day of wear (~14-15 hours) with my costume. The finish is very nice and I did not notice any discoloration and experienced no sensitivity or itchiness, despite a long day outside in warm and damp weather.

They are not super heavy. I have some really heavy metal earrings. Although these are large they are about a medium heaviness. The are easy to wear and pretty.

The earrings are gorgeous and the quality seems good. They're not too noisy either. However, I'm so bummed that they are really HEAVY!! They actually pull down my earlobes! They're not necessarily uncomfortable, but they're not super comfortable either. I wouldn't wear them regularly, but on special occasions, if that. I'd return them, but I didn't pay that much for them so it's not really worth the gas I would use driving to the UPS store. I thought that maybe if I remove a few of the discs they'll feel better, but probably not since most of the weight is in the centerpiece, not the discs. So, if you can tolerate heavy earrings pulling down your lobes, definitely buy these. They are gorgeous. If like me, you cannot, save your money.

The oyster shell chandelier earrings are lightweight and feminine.

They are beautiful however, one of the shell circles was broken in half. Not reparible, too thin. I don't think anyone will notice unless they examine them closely. I will brush the other circles with clear nail polish to strengthen.
