The necklace has a velvet choker, but it is pretty cheap fabric. I didn't wear it for more than a minute so I can't attest to how sturdy it is, but it does have a chair you can adjust the length with. I'm returning because it doesn't fit with the outfit I bought it for and I wouldn't wear it again.

This choker isn't bad for the price at all. I would recommend it if you're wearing it for a specific outfit/reason, probably a one-time deal. A couple faults for me:1. The choker is relatively small. I can get it to fit but only on the very last link of the chain. I wish the ribbon part was longer so I don't have to use the whole chain length.2. The dangling charm was missing two chain links so the top gem sits sideways and not face on. I will have to add the missing links so it sits correctly.3. The shape in the center of the star/sun charm is strange. Design-wise, I wish it matched the sun shape or something like that instead of being a random blob.4. The metal material parts are pretty cheap. I don't expect any of it would stand up to accidentally being snagged or pulled. (Side note: Yes, the velvet is also cheap, but it still looks nice and isn't uncomfortable on the skin so I'm not bothered by it at all.)All-in-all, this choker is mostly as expected. I took only one-star off for the above issues because the necklace is very inexpensive and I think it matches up well for the price. I'm bummed that I have to alter it in order for the gem to lay correctly (even the product image includes the links that my item is missing), but I'm not unhappy with this. I bought it for a one-time use and it should get the job done.

I like the charm hanging from it, but I don't like the necklace. I don't like the red velvet like material. It was super cheap to buy. I will never wear it - give it to goodwill. Get what you pay for.
