I bought this for my Monroe piercing. I have a very thin lip, so it’s hard finding jewelry that doesn’t stick out and look silly. This one is so much better and even came with an extra backing piece! I prefer this over the metal jewelry, especially when it’s against my teeth. Highly recommend!

The gem is smaller than I expected and the post with the gem doesn't push in all the way into the bioplast base. Otherwise, it's a good product & they give you 2 bases.

It's a good thing they give you 2 plastic bases. The stone and setting itself is gorgeous, but in the process of putting this in an ear cartilage piercing, my nails scratched the plastic part. And I don't mean little tiny feather scratches. I mean deep scratches that you can feel with your fingers. This is not good, as the scratches will grow bacteria and irritate the piercing itself. Even just messing around with it, seeing how tight the push in stone fits, that stretched and cracked the plastic on one. This is not acceptable. I've had acrylic body jewelry in the past that didn't chip or scratch, and this is not the same. Don't waste your money, unless you have to have plastic for some reason.

I love this lip ring because the bioplast slips over your gums so it doesn’t cause ression of the gums! It also is small so it doesn’t look awkward like some people’s do. Like a big bulb on their lip. It’s the right size and give you a hit of beauty.
