I should have looked at the measurements given and not just at the photos that made the Iolite look big and really blue. The stones are rather small, and since not as much light gets reflected, they really are a darker blue. I would have returned them but I don’t have a printer to print out the USPS label.

The stone color and cut are beautiful. The stones are evenly matched and are a deep bluish purple. The ear wire is a nice gauge and barely noticeable.My only disappointment is they arrived horribly tarnished. I need to clean them up later to see if the silver plating is damaged or they just sat unloved for too long. I also ordered an iolite ring and cannot wait to see them together.
