This is very very pretty. The chain is delicate, but sturdy. I've tugged it a couple of times by mistake but it stayed strong. The knot is pretty as well. Also, the extension chain is very nice if you have a larger ankle. I don't need it and it looks very pretty hanging as well.Update on this. It lasted about a month and a half before it broke and I actually lost it.

The medallion is much bigger than the ones with blown-up images that turn out to be the size of a soybean.For the whiners: yes the chain is very fine, it is not something to put on the ankle of a dairy cow or go mountain-climbing with.It's delicate, just like my wife. Bought for the wife, and she loves it. Some reviewers think it's too thin, but I was surprised by how sturdy it feels. Of course, she has necklaces and bracelets that are MUCH thinner, so this perception likely depends on what you're used to. I wouldn't think you'd want to sleep with it on, but why would you anyway? I have no concerns.

I've worn anklets for years! I love that this one is different, comfortable & stylish. It waz a little "short", but I adapted & hardly even know it on! The "knot" design is just beautiful. It "sits" comfortably on the skin...I never take my anklets off, and again...hardly know it on. Very fem, nice silver..great seller, great product.

We spend weeks in salt water at the beach and chlorine in the pool and sometimes will turns silver jewelry black...I don't to take off when I swim and the anklet has stay shinny and not turned in any way.
