I bought this as a gift for my niece and was not sure how nice it would be because of the price. But when I saw it I was very happy to see just how attractive it really was. I tried it on and actually considered keeping it for myself, but because it was xmas decided to use it for the gift it was intended for. And what a hit it was, she absolutely loved the ring and it turned out to be exactly the type she was looking for. For the price you really can not beat it. I'm working on trying to post pictures to give a better idea of what it looks like on. Great looking ring, great price!

My mother loves jewelry, but has Alzheimer's and looses things easily. She was thrilled to get this for her birthday! I told her if she looses it, it's ok we'll get her another which put her at ease. It's surprising well made and very pretty!

I love the east-west orientation of this ring. Makes it look real. Stone is pretty, has pinkish undertones which also mimic a real ruby. Nice setting.

Gawdy and fake looking, this will be returned.The 'stone' is pink, not a garnet red as I wanted also the size makes it look obviously fake.

Really pretty but not for everyday use. After a week or so it started turning my finger green and I couldn't wear it anymore

OK, maybe I set my expectations to high, but it looked SO cheap the moment I opened the box and fell instantly that I wanted to return it. But when I tried it on my finger, it wasn't as bad as it looked just by itself, especially from a little distance. But you can tell easily this is not a real deal. The stone color is much lighter than shown on the picture, making me think it was plastic at first. I would probably wear it as a cocktail ring, and not a formal one, but it definitely is not for a daily wear. For this price, I've seen much better quality and craftsmanship, although this is a good price. Let's see how long it holds up. For now I'll give it 3 stars.
