I have a tiny wrist and the female one is perfect for it! Its feminine and thin but thick and strong, hope that makes sense. The picture is accurate. Its a slight oval shape and there are more benefits with the oval shape than a circle. I wear it all the time. Sports, work, bathing, sleeping, cleaning, swimming....sometimes I forget its there. Its extremely scratch resistant too. I am very allergic to fake jewelry and this doesn't bother my skin one bit. It also stays securely clamped close-never has popped open. I haven't snagged it on clothes of any material nor got caught in my hair, where it bends and snaps closed. Neither has it been caught in anything like it would if it was bigger. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone and everyone!
