I'm fond of lapis lazuli and don't often find it featured in jewellery items, so I snagged this necklace as soon as I spotted it. It ended up being far more exceptional than I'd anticipated!The lapis cylinder bead appears to be natural stone, with the vivid blue of higher grade lapis and some pyrite veining. The bead is capped on either side with cubic zirconia-endcrusted goldplated end caps, and the bead moves freely on the chain.The necklace adjusts to a wide variety of lengths by simply pulling the chain up or down through the bead near the clasp. It's an ingenious design, and once you've set the length to your liking it remains there until you move it again. I'm not generally a fan of vermeil, but am hoping that the gold plating is sufficient to last a while. Happily, it would be easy enough to remove the lapis bead and put it onto a new solid 14k chain if need be.The style is unusual and gorgeous--a statement piece, to be sure, but one that is smaller and more refined than most options in this category. I am impressed enough with both the quality and design to purchase the matching earrings and create a set. Highly recommend!

My primary issue here is with the chain. It's not the greatest quality. It is stamped 925, and does not react to a magnet (other than the clasp, which is fine since the springs should not be sterling). It just doesn't have the weight and feel of a quality piece, and it's a little on the orange-yellow side of the spectrum for me. It's not so far into that territory that it screams fake, but it's not ideal even for semi-precious. I'd prefer a true gold tone that doesn't make me look twice.That said, though, the chain is kind of genius. It has, rather than an extender, a bolo-style ball adjuster, such that you pull through as much as you'd like to shorten, and of course pull the other direction to lengthen (up to full length). You can add additional length by adding your own extender, which is the ONLY way you can add length because you can't change the chain. This is a one-piece deal, and that barrel bead tiger eye is not coming off. I mean, you can get it off, but it'll involve cutting the chain and then replacing it by soldering findings on once it's already been run through the bead, so the new chain will also be permanent in nature. I personally don't care for that kind of setup, but it's really no different than necklaces with the pendant built in.The tiger eye is fine but not an outstanding example. It's got nicks and such, which is to be expected at this size and price point, but could have used a little more polish (as in literal polish - it's rougher than I'd like).This is unique enough that if you like it, I'd say it's reasonable to look past the faults because this isn't something you'll find a dozen others to pick from. It's not an heirloom piece by any stretch, but it is nice looking and again something you won't see on everybody like some of the other things on this platform.

This is a beautiful turquoise necklace. The stone is very small, 3/4" long by 1/4" wide. It isn't a true cylinder, it has faceted sides (see photos). The turquoise has metallic inclusionsThe seller did something very clever. To keep the stone from being damaged by the chain or the clasp, they put the stone in a small zipper bag with the chain coming out and closed the zipper around the chain, then put both the chain and the small bag in a larger zipper bag (see photo).I showed this to my wife and her comment was that it was very beautiful but she would never buy it because it looked too fragile. She was afraid she would accidentally break the chain and lose the stone.My wife may not be the right woman for this necklace but I feel sure there is a mother, wife, daughter or granddaughter out there for whom it would be perfect.

Love the lapis charm necklace. Unfortunatly the chain is very cheap looking. The opening for the necklace is so small that you cannot change the chain, it is a fully assembled necklace. I would not wear in the shower. Cute necklace 3/5 stars.

This necklace is so much prettier in person! The picture doesn't do it justice. The turquoise itself is really nice, the gold veins that run through it are not too much, it is very subtle and the barrel style is unique. I like the stone accents at the ends, they are very sparkly. This necklace is delicate and the perfect layering piece. I love that the chain has the "pull" style to make it shorter and longer instead of the various spots on the chain that can make a nice necklace look cheap. This necklace is masterfully made- I love the color and the style. I have worn it every day since it arrived. It is really hard to find nice jewelry that is both yellow gold and turquoise, most of the stuff out there looks cheap- this doesn't. The chain is delicate and the barrel stone on it really goes well. This is my new favorite everyday necklace. I

Medium sized onyx stone that hangs from a gold toned chain. The pendant is attached to the chain- is noticeable, sizeable but not too large. Both the chain and stone are designed nicely and the necklace has a simple look but still leaves an impression as an understated statement piece that stands out nicely on the neck. Comes in a black velvet bag with the necklace inside a smaller plastic bag inside. Overall- good buy.
