I like to wear necklaces in different ways: doubled up, knotted, twisted around a scarf, or as a belt. Unfortunately, I seldom find a necklace long enough to do all these things. This one goes down to my mid-thigh! (I am 5'7). The decorative links are black metal and the beads are different-colored stones, but NOT fakey plastic looking. I really like it. (Note: the necklace is a closed loop, does not open.) Also, the sender included a pair of earings, as a free gift!
