Stone looks like a quality piece. I specifically wanted a leather necklace so this works for me. I especially like the fact that the necklace is adjustable so it makes it easy to put on and take off. Have worn for about 2 weeks and so far seems durable. Update-after about 2 wks the necklace cord would no longer slide to adjust so will need to order a separate leather or steel necklace for this pendant. Still like the pendant and was reasonably priced suck that I don't mind needed to buy a higher quality cord

Purchased as a gift. The pendant is as pictured, although looks better in person. The packaging is very nice and perfectly suited as a gift box. It was nice that it also included a card that summarized the properties of obsidian. It does appear to be genuine obsidian, however I'm not a geologist so I can't be positive. Also there is no enclosed certificate or lab test to certify authenticity, also no claims were made in product description as to if it is natural obsidian. So who knows?

I purchased this pendant for my husband. He absolutely loves it! I have actually purchased this product twice. My husband lost the first one in the lake and was really sade, so I came back to Amazon for a replacement. It is real obsidian with a good weight. It has beautiful purple, brown, black colors when held up to the sun. We believe it helps protect him and his energy.

While a weapon may be pretty cool and can cut and smash through the nonsense of life, being unmoved and undeterred by any of it in the first place is more my style.It's a nice little necklace. Cord is of good quality and soft material. The stone itself is shiny and has a satisfying weight to it. The selected size was spot on too. Very pleased.

Gave this to my son, for his birthday. He loves it. I was afraid it would be heavy, but it is perfect. Would have rather a clasp of some sort, has 2 thin strings you pull together to tighten. You pull the necklace over your head and then pull the two strings it only shrinks about an inch. Good quality and very pretty.
