This is my absolute favorite piece of jewelry that I own. I love everything about this choker, EXCEPT that the lobster claw clasp faces the wrong way. Normally, the opening for the claw would face down while the part you use to open it faces up. This way, your hands are in a more ergonomic position and you can just hook it with the other side of the chain. This necklace does the opposite of that, meaning you need to use a weird twisting motion to clasp and unclasp it. Now, you’re probably reading this and thinking “But Illumine, why don’t you just flip the necklace so the clasp faces the right way?” Well, my dear reader, the star charm on this choker is designed to only face one way. You can’t rotate the necklace or else the star will hang awkwardly against that rectangular piece in the center, and only one side of the star is outlined in silver with black in the middle. The front is also the only side that has those gems on the rectangle.If they were to fix the issue with the clasp, I’d give this choker 5 stars, but the fact that I was almost ready to grab a pair of scissors and cut it off today because I couldn’t get it to unclasp is a big problem for me.

So these are really cute and pretty decent for the price. I ordered the whole set because it made more sense than just ordering one. I also ordered a set of chain extenders and I am glad I did because it made these fit better with little bit of added length. If you have a thicker neck the extenders are definitely worth it. The collar part is more shiny than I expected but it is soft and supple so I'm ok with it because it contours to my neck. If you are a bit bigger and looking for something cute to wear with lower cut shirt you will not be disappointed, just make sure to add the lobster claw chain extenders( amazon has a set of 8 for like 6 bucks) to your order.
