It looks like a huge drop of blood. You don't see the light through it unless you move it directly to some light like by a window. It is the color of dried blood. It is in a thin rose-colored gold setting with an S925 silver tamp on it. I don't see how you get the healing effects of amber if it doesn't touch your skin.It isn't sticky like other Baltic amber that is orange. This is hard and smooth. It is like a giant crystal ball ring that you can't see through unless you purposely shine light through it. There are two tiny clear-looking red leaves on the sides like sepals and then little white zirconia chips like dew drops. You don't notice that next to the giant ball though unless you look.The ring itself is lightweight and adjustable. It comes in a fairly large band size, and then you can squeeze it tighter or pull it looser. It fits my pointer finger to start with. You get a tiny cardboard ring box with a velvet pad, and it is in a plastic bag under the pad. You have to lie it on its side to store it in the box with the lid shut.
