I used to be a 1/2” years ago but let my ears shrink back. Started stretching again starting with 4g in these guys. I have severe allergy to most “cheap” metals, acrylic, and silicone so I usually only ever wore glass. These were perfect and did not irritate my ears at all! They are ever so slightly heavy, but 4g wasn’t too bad and the weight honestly helped for sizing up. After a few weeks, the 2g slipped in with no issue! The screwing back was awesome in that they never fell off and didn’t have to worry about losing rings or anything, but if you have poor fine motor skills like me lol, then they’re a tad annoying putting on and taking off, especially after a shower. The design was also perfect for my corporate banking job; can still have stretched ears and look professional.

I really like these plugs. They look good and fit well. I’m a 0g with small ears and they’re a little heavy but they did come with some rubber bands to stabilize them. Not comfortable to sleep in.

I wear my gauges to bed, and basically have them in all the time, except to shower and even sometimes then if I have no choice/time - I have 4 kiddos so I do what I can! But these are so pretty and I always get compliments on them. Theyre heavier than plastic ones, obviously because theyre metal with a big gem but once theyre in, theyre not heavy FEELING which is perfect! They are very elegant looking too so if you dont want to show the hole all the way through of your gauges, which can be necessary with jobs and events - these are so perfect!!! They also stand up to so much from my usage! I have dropped them multiple times - no damage AT ALL. They are VERY secure when putting them on that I started ONLY buying gauges with the screw on ring back because of how easy and supportive it was. And they arent so big that they overpower your ear if you have other earrings in. I love these so much I even bought the same pair in a bigger size when I went up one more size

The backs don’t stay tight. Within 2 days I lost a back down the drain but they do come with a rubber piece you can also use.

They look good, however the prongs holding the crystal in are loose and I can hear rattling when I walk. Also on one of the plugs the thread tolerances were so terrible! I’ve had these for a day, wore them out to dinner and when I got home noticed that the back retaining piece had disappeared somewhere. I had noticed the treads tend to undo themselves with just basic head movement, even when wrenching down and tightening them really well the retainer just unscrews itself never to be found again.

Forget the O ring fastening plugs, the screw backs are where it's at. Super secure.
