Yes this is .925 silver with a coating of gold, as long as it's not worn every day it shouldn't wear at it for long & keep looking great!

I'm sorta iffy on this one, especially where it's priced. It's not a value piece of costume jewelry and I have others that fall into price categories half this amount but look as good or better. See my photos/vid and you can tell.The stone isn't all that clear, with some fire, but I wouldn't call it brilliant unless the light is just right, which was hard to achieve for my video. The stone is about the right size as stated in the listing, but it's visually smaller as compared to the rest of the pendant in person - or so it seems. I don't down-rank for this issue, but I do downrank for quality overall.I don't think the finish of the 925 silver beneath the rhodium gold-colored plating was done very well or very carefully. I think this one was rushed. The chain doesn't show those same problems but it seems a bit under-sized for the job it is doing. Clasp is OK but the spring in it isn't very robust - I think this could be easily lost.No, I'm not thrilled with this. Some of the quality issues, and it's mostly quality issues I have with this piece, might just be a one-off and mine maybe isn't so great, while others produced may be made better and finished better. But for this amount of cost the one I got is just not that well made and not a good value, in my opinion. I do NOT recommend this piece.

Like what other reviewers have mentioned, on face value and if you go by initial visual cues alone, the product packaging and the case that it comes in certainly looks great. It has an external cardboard protective box, its own gift bag if you desire to give it as a gift, and some other miscellaneous items to maintain its shine and luster along with the associated labels and paperwork.However, if you closely the fit and finish can be improved, especially since the price is above one hundred dollars. At this price, the expectations for the quality of the plating, the design of the stones, and the quality of each visual detail will be scrutinized to the point that visual blemishes or deficiencies in quality will be called into question. While things look alright at first glance, if your eyes linger longer, you will pick up surface visual imperfections that could use stricter quality control. The quality of the plating is one issue and the clasp that holds the figure eight and heart and necklace chain together is another. In terms of tightness of the clasp on the chain, somehow the clasp does not spring back with as much force as the other pieces of jewelry in my possession.Overall, for the price, I would have expected the issues described above to be absent. However, their presence calls into question whether the emphasis on quality was placed on the external packaging or the jewelry piece itself. In my opinion, it is the jewelry piece that needs more attention to detail.
