The advertisement makes all the colors look very bright but that is just not the case. While the earrings are pretty the ad is deceiving. However, they do sparkle better in the sunshine. They feel like they are made well for the price. They look good on and feel fine too.

I got the purple stone hoops and they are so gorgeous! The hoop itself is like a huge and the gem dangles. I wore these for several days in a row and had zero irritation! I'm prone to irritation, so the fact these were ok on me makes me like them even more! what I like about these is that they are so light and comfortable. I will forget I even have them on.

These Seraphina Birthstone Hoop Earrings, S925 Sterling Silver Post with a 90 day money back guarantee are very shiny and pretty but I do have a few complaints about them. The lavender Alexandrite color in the seller’s photograph is much more vibrant than in the earrings I received back in mid-February (costing the same price as my review today). Still a pretty color, but a much paler version.Second problem is that the curved post is much thicker than usual in pierced earrings. Yet the circumference is quite a tight fit. These led to a combination of problems - it was difficult to find the back hole because of the thicker and more pronounced curve (to the point of it becoming painful), as well as the trouble of fingers finding their way around the ear lobe in that tight ring space to getting the closure done quickly, as usually happens. Not so here!Finally, the dangling stone segment does not rotate and the body of the earring is too thick to allow a twist to the dangle. This means the birthstone faces quite far away from the wearer’s face, rather than straight on, as is desirable. I consider these design flaws that are unfortunate in a piece of pretty birthstone jewelry that ought to do better. So, I really can’t recommend them.

I love this pair of earrings. They have been on heavy rotation since I got them. They work well. The clasp is tight when closed but easy also to open for inserting and removing. The stones are beautiful and the size of them is proportionate to the hoop portion of the earring. I really like them and will use them often for a long time. Well made. I will say I just ordered a color I liked rather than my birth stone and am happy I did! I wouldn't mind another pair in a different color!

too hard to get on and off, wants there on, there very pretty. getting them off took both myself and my husband to get them off. don't know if i would wear them again.

These clasps are so tight I can't even wear them in my ears. I was disappointed because they match a necklace I have perfectly. Bummer
