The purpose of hallmarking is to assure the buyer that the ring is made from genuine silver and/or gold. Assay Offices exist for the express purpose of verifying quality.
Biddy Murphy was certified by the Federation of Jewelry Manufacturers of Ireland in 2008 after our CEO took an accreditation class. We are proud to sell genuine fine jewelry.
- Hallmark stamp is tiny and often requires a magnifying glass to find!
- Stamp is located on the inside of ring bands and bracelets or on the back of pendants and earrings.
