I am giving five stars because these earrings are made well. The Amethyst stone, real or fabricated looks authentic.I am disappointed in myself for not paying more attention to some of the reviews. The earrings are really small. I bought these to give to a friend, but unfortunately I will be replacing them with earrings that are suited for an adult.

Very pretty for a gift, wish the heart pendant was a bit bigger it's almost the size of the inside of a peanut.

I bought topaz for our granddaughter, who was born in November. Id given her a pair last year and they were perfect, but she lost one, so I ordered a new pair. There was no color at all to the stones. But returning things can be such a pain, so I figured I'd keep them for myself and try again. Second order, same problem. I'm very dissatisfied.

I agree with the other commenters that the Ruby red (July) color is not very red. Has a more orange color to it. Not sure if it will be mistaken for orange but definitely not as red as it could be. I wish I had read the reviews first as I would have gone with the Garnet red for January. I threw out the box already so I don’t think I can return for the January color now. :(Otherwise, the earrings are well made and seem sturdy (for dangle earrings anyway). I’m impressed that the crown is not just on the front of the heart, but it’s actually circular and goes around the whole top of the heart. It’s not just 2D on the front (like a cladagh ring).

I bought it for my 7year old niece for a Princess Peach theme party. She absolutely loved it. Its small and cute. It was perfect.
