About five months ago, I started having severe pain in my left hip and groin area. I am a pretty active person, so I assumed I had pulled a muscle or something, and that I would recover rather quickly. No so. After a series of hospital visits, tests, and surgeries, it was discovered that I had septic arthritis of the hip, which would eventually destroy my hip join. To make a long story short, I have been on bed-rest for almost six months now. During this time, co-workers and friend have been visiting me, bringing me dinners, reading materials, etc.. My name has been added to many prayer lists, and I have received numerous cards, letters, and phone calls. I make jewelry, so I decided to design and manufacture a cross bracelet for everyone as a thank you for all they had done over my illness that has lasted over half a year. I wanted some sort of gift container that wouldn't require wrapping or lots of extra work. After searching the internet, I decided upon these draw-string bags. They are a sturdy weight with a nice brushed velvet-like texture. Nothing too fancy, but not tacky. They are perfect for my use. If I have any left over, I may use them to store beaded necklaces that I don't use very often. They would be great to store pieces of jewelry to prevent tangling, or to store dice or other game pieces to prevent loss. Overall, these bags are a great value at about a dime a piece!

I purchased these pouches to hold sets of polyhedral dice. I recently purchased a set of dice that contained twenty sets (seven dice in a set), and each set is a different color. These dice came in one big bag, and I didn't like how I had to dump out the bag so I could find all the dice in a matching color. I had a jewelry bag that a sterling necklace came in, and thought I could sort these dice in jewelry bags.The bags appear to be decent jewelry bags. There were loose threads in the plastic bag they arrived in, but I think they were just loose, because I could not find a single bag with a loose or missing stitch. The inside is find for my intended purpose. Each bag holds a set of polyhedral dice easily - in fact you'd probably be able to hold at least two sets in each bag. Bottom line, it's much easier for me to grab one of these bags knowing inside is one complete set of dice, all in a matching color.
