I got this because my daughter wanted to give one half to her BFF. It’s cute and an affordable option for a best friend necklace, but I don’t anticipate it lasting too long. You definitely get what you pay for. I would recommend removing before showering or swimming, which depending on the age of the person wearing it, might not be too realistic. But even if these necklaces only last a couple weeks (I think they’ll last longer than that, though), it’d be worth it for the joy it brought my daughter and her best friend.
