Pretty much everything from Bergeon is pricey including these dial protectors. With that said they do a great job of protecting the dial when you’re removing hands. They’re also really handy for adjusting the angle of hands you’ve installed if they happen to be dipped to far in one direction or the other. Just slip the protector under the low side of the hand and provide a little upward pressure.

You're paying for the name. Nicely made but too thick for many fine and/or vintage watches. Often, after you get the sheet positioned, there's no space left for your hand removal tool. Watch a couple of YouTube videos about using a baggie over the hands . . . doesn't seem like it would work, but it does. Or make your own using a #11 Xacto knife and a heavy duty sheet protector.

In watchmaking there are a lot of products that are"just as good as" or "almost the same as". In this casewhat I got was what was advertised....and at a great price!!

Bergeon is the number one watch tool brand. These little pieces of plastic are a must when you're removing watch hands and don't want to damage the dial. They don't cost much but can and will save you a lot of headache.

It works. That’s what it supposed to do but there are many other things that can take the place to the bag. A sheet of paper or something malleable.
