This is a very nice bracelet. I like the garnet beads very much, they are a wonderful shade of deep red. The beads are strung on a thick stretchy cord with a hidden knot. At first I thought one gold bead was missing because there are two garnet beads right next to each other without a gold bead between them. But it is shown exactly like that in the description photos so I guess it is supposed to be that way. I would've preferred if it was alternating beads all the way around, but it is not defective. The bracelet came in a large zippered pouch with a leaflet explaining how to wear and care for it. I think this bracelet feels as good as it looks on.

If it's jade or not, it should turn my skin green after wearing it. so whatever dye was used to color the beads, it's not skin friendly. It may be jade, but it's a lighter color and was dyed green to make it look like a darker jade. i just don't know if it is or not. I'm disappointed. Other bracelets i've gotten were fine, but this one just did not cut it.
