This is a very classy looking valet box. Our son is getting married this coming week, and we purchased it for his soon to be father-in-law as a special gift from us. It has very nice workmanship, and is rich looking. The detail is gorgeous. The inside is pine trimmed with a red velvet type lining at the bottom of the box. The inside is rather common, but will hold a lot of collectibles nicely. When I received this box, it was very difficult to open. I just sanded the inside pine sides with a fine sand paper, and that corrected this issue promptly. The man we are giving this to came to this country from Poland when he was 18 years old, and this box is made in Poland. We are thinking this will be extra special to him. I'm glad we found this box through Amazon, and are pleased to give this as a gift. He is a man who has everything, and we feel this will be something he will enjoy, plus it's beautiful as a display box on a coffee table, dresser, etc.

We were looking for a gift for a man who has (or can have) everything. This is a beautiful box with a red velvet liner inside. The box feels quality and is quite large. There are no dividers inside so you can place cell phone, keys, watch, jewelry or the like in the box. The recipient does love to travel so we thought the map of the world on the top was perfect. Added a few key items inside just for fun.

Looks exactly as shown. The inside is layered with red velvet and it holds quite a bit. My husband was using a different box, but the compartments inside weren't really helping. I like this one because there is just one big compartment for everything: wallet, keys, watch, glasses, etc. It doesn't offer much height, but makes up for it in width and beauty. The box is sturdy and well made...and as you can see by the posted pic it is beautiful!

Honestly, this box is simply beautiful. While I wish it had a lock, the craftsmanship and overall quality of the box is stunning. I bought it for my dad's 60th birthday, and he absolutely loved it the atlas carving and the wooden texture.It is expensive to say the least, but the product is undoubtably worth it.
